| 内容記述 | In this research, interviews were conducted with women who work in Japanese companies. The results were examined for the purpose of providing advice in initiative measures for promoting women’s participation, which companies are asked to implement. The research results showed that although active initiative measures for promoting women’s participation were seen in major enterprises, those women who participated in interviews said that they cannot hope for greater participation due to child-rearing constraints. As such, it was revealed that promotion of women’s participation was hampered by family situation factors and not workplace situation factors. Based on the above, the initiative measures for women’s active participation that companies are expected to implement should not only be directly involved with progressing women’s careers. Instead, I would like to propose that it is an initiative in which follow-up supports are given after ascertaining the subject's family situation, including child-rearing and nursing-care. | |||||||||||||
