| 内容記述 | Two food images in As You Like It , 'husks' and 'venison', symbolize the two groups in the social hierarchy of early modern England. 'Husks' appears in the lines spoken by one of the main characters and represents the financial plight he is in. On the other hand 'venison' was a food for kings and it represents the relief from the discriminating society of the play. The circumstances under which the male main character is will be examined in its social background. | |||||||||||||
