| 内容記述 | This study improves the research on Malaysia’s disaggregate import demand functions conducted by Fukumoto (2020). The results suggest that the deeper the country is involved in international production sharing, the less essential the relative price will be. Economic growth driven by the electric industry may not harm trade balance. However, an increase in domestically produced transport equipment may have a negative impact on the trade balance. Thus, development and facilitation of domestic production in the automobile industry is essential and it is advised that the government should design policies to promote relevant industries. | |||||||||||||
