内容記述 Children (3-year-olds, 4-year-olds, and 5-year-olds) compared two scenes from the same picture book to see what kind of images they had of them. We discovered the difference in what happened there, and investigated and considered the utterances we inferred. Three-year-olds were seen trying to express and convey their feelings in words, and four-year-olds were seen listening to what their friends were saying and trying to convey their own feelings to those words. The 5-year-olds were seen thinking more deeply, making inferences based on experience, learning what their friends were thinking, and sharing ideas that differed from their own. This is thought to be an experience in the budding of thinking for children, so it was found that the influence of other children on their thinking is also large. Based on these considerations, instead of labeling children's thoughts as right or wrong, childcare workers should keep in mind that there are times when it is necessary to guide children to awareness or give them hints for new awareness. In order to pick up the ideas that come from the child's mind and expand their interests further, the childcare worker is surprised by the child's thinking, but also thinks about how to help the child find it even more interesting. Assistance is needed to expand the scope of education.
